The English Maler  -  Kevin Sorrell  -  Personal Biography.

                                                                                     

Kevin was born and bred in London, England, but decided to make Denmark home with his  Danish wife Pia, daughter Sophia and Buddy the dog. Interests include Photography, all Sports, Theatre & Film, Travelling, Design, and spare time with family & friends.

MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY -LONDON, ENGLAND - BACHELOR OF ARTS HONOURS DEGREE  - Majors in Theatre, Cinema, English Literature & Art History

Kevin's work journey has taken him to Castles, Palaces, Museums, Churches and Buildings of Cultural Interest to apply his skills.  He feels that “Variety is definitely the spice of life”  For the last 4 years Kevin worked alongside Mester Flemming Jensen of "Lys & Farve” and tidligere"Raadvad Maleren”. Companies renowned for general painting skills but also specialized historic handwork.                                                  

 The English Maler as a company has a strong ethos of mutual respect, flexibility, communication, “thinking outside of the box”, service with a smile  and all with a sense of energy!                                                                                                                                                                                     

When Kevin is not working on site he can be found at the workshop, working with furniture, iron, clocks, windows, chess sets & vintage radios restoration, repurposing, aging, marbling, varnishing/polishing,and generally bringing items back to life. Customers love that the company can take the creative lead and  return them something everyone can be proud of.

Work life & personal life blurs into one and the education never stops. So that's why Kevin was given the title of “Mister fix-it “, going that extra mile, solving problems & even inventing things to make life more logical and efficient and sometimes, just simply more beautiful.
